You are here because you want more than a list of coping tools.

You need a place to feel safe, heard, and understood. You may be feeling overwhelmed, lost, or caught in an old familiar pattern that you cannot seem to shake. You might be asking yourself questions like:

Why do I keep ending up here?
Why won’t this problem go away?
I know what I should do, but that does not seem to help.
I hardly even know what I am feeling anymore. I just know I do not feel like myself.

Therapy and assessment with me begin there.

How I Work

I approach therapy and assessment with the belief that people are whole and complex, far beyond a list of symptoms. My role is not to reduce you to a diagnosis, but to help you understand the fuller picture of how you think, feel, and relate. In therapy, I work primarily with girls, women, and LGBTQ+ folks of all genders, typically ages 12–35. Many of the people I see are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, identity questions, emotional dysregulation, body image concerns, depression, or the transition into adulthood. Some feel chronically overwhelmed. Others feel high-functioning on the outside but internally unsettled.

Our work may include reflection, laughter, quiet moments, hard conversations, or even the occasional meme that captures something words cannot. Therapy does not have to be stiff or formal. It does need to feel real. I integrate multiple approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, psychodynamic work, and strengths-based interventions. What matters most is that the approach fits you.

Assessment as Understanding, Not Just Diagnosis

I also specialize in psychological assessment for children (age 8 and up), adolescents, and adults. This includes evaluation for ADHD, learning differences, autism in children and adolescents, and broader diagnostic questions. The way I do testing is a deeply collaborative, client-centric approach called Collaborative Therapeutic Assessment (learn more about that here).

For me, assessment is never just about arriving at a label. A diagnosis can be helpful, but it is only part of the story. The deeper value of assessment lies in helping clients and families understand patterns that have felt confusing, frustrating, or self-critical for years.

I provide personality assessment, including depth-oriented interpretation and the use of projective measures such as the Rorschach when appropriate. I have specialized training in projective techniques and regularly consult with other psychologists on personality theory and assessment interpretation.

Assessment should leave you with more than answers. It should leave you with language, perspective, and direction.

A little more about me

Outside of work, you will likely find me at yoga, watching history documentaries, or combing through the clearance section at Marshall’s for candles I absolutely did not need but somehow had to bring home. I am also an avid consumer of chocolate in nearly all forms. I believe therapy works best when it feels human. You deserve a space where you can show up fully, not perfectly.
